Stat-fight: HTC EVO 3D vs. HTC Sensation

How chunky are these two handsets? The Sensation is slightly skinnier than the EVO 3D with a chassis that’s only 11.3mm thick. The Sensation is wider, although not so you’d notice without a magnifying glass and a ruler. It measures 65.4mm to the EVO 3D’s 65.0mm. If weight is an issue, then here’s the biggest difference between the two – the EVO 3D is a heavyweight 170g, while the Sensation is weighs in at 148g.

Next, let’s take a quick look at processing power. It’s a feature that always ranks highly in our top 3 smartphone features poll. The EVO 3D is built around a brand-spanking new 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 chip. The Sensation, meanwhile, relies on a Qualcomm MSM8260 dual-core Snapdragon, rated at 1.2GHz. The difference? The MSM8660 features 1GB of RAM, the MSM8260 has 768MB.
