HTC Windows Phone 8X vs. Huawei Ascend W1 – Connectivity

The wireless options on the Windows Phone 8X include NFC, 3G/HSDPA, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.1 with A2DP/EDR. It also incorporates 4G for speedy data downloads. Huawei’s Ascend W1, meanwhile, dishes up NFC, 3G/HSDPA, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR/A2DP. No 4G though.

The design of the HTC Windows Phone 8X incorporates a 8.0 Megapixel camera with a max resolution of 3264 x 2448 and autofocus, LED flash, touch focus, face detection, geo-tagging and 1080p video recording. It also has a front-mounted camera with a resolution of 2.1MP.

Despite its autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and 720p video recording, the Ascend W1′s 5.0 Megapixel package loses out in this round. It too has an extra camera on the front for video calling. But the resolution is only 0.3MP (VGA).
