Stat-fight: Motorola DROID X2 vs. Samsung Galaxy S
The DROID X2 features a touch-sensitive LCD display, 4.3 inches across with a quoted resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Jamming 518400 pixels into this qHD screen size gives the DROID X2 a pixel density of 256.047 pixels per inch (PPI).
At only 4.0 inches, the Galaxy S’s touch-sensitive Super AMOLED screen has slightly less room. It boasts a poorer screen resolution too – 480 by 800 pixels. With 384000 pixels onscreen, the pixel density is lower at 233.25 pixels per inch.
Motorola has built a 8.0 Megapixel lens into the DROID X2 together with features such as autofocus, touch-to-focus, dual LED flash, geo-tagging, face/smile detection and 720p HD video capture.
In comparison, the Galaxy S has a lower-spec camera – a 5.0 Megapixel model with a max resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels, plus autofocus, geo-tagging, touch to focus functionality, face and smile detection and HD video recording.
