Stat-fight: Samsung DROID Charge vs. Motorola Atrix (4G)

Look closely at the two combatants and you’ll see that the DROID Charge features a touch-sensitive Super AMOLED Plus display, 4.3 inches across with a quoted resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Jamming 384000 pixels into this screen size gives the Samsung phone a pixel density of 216.977 pixels per inch (PPI).

The touch-sensitive LCD display on the Motorola Atrix is less roomy, measuring 4.0 inches across. It boasts a higher resolution however, specifically 540 by 960 pixels. In comparison, there are 518400 pixels onscreen, giving the Atrix a pixel density of 275.25 pixels per inch.

In terms of processor speeds, the DROID Charge’s processor is a single-core, 1GHz Hummingbird chip, while the Atrix (4G) uses a Dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, rated at 1GHz. Read the full smartphone comparison below…
